FOUNDATION 1: FORM
Proper form is crucial if you are to succeed in your fitness goals. From general fitness to sports events and competitions, it is essential for success when training; because it is the quality, more than quantity, which will influence your progress.
Time under tension, angle of movement, range of motion, and many other factors all contribute to a functional fitness training session and our Hex Trainers will COACH you in these prior to adding intensity, weight and volume. This creates a safer workout, resulting in greatly reduced injury rates compared to other programs, while enabling you to get maximum results from your workouts.
FOUNDATION 2: FUNCTIONAL WELLNESS
Functional wellness exercises train your muscles to work together and prepare them for daily tasks by simulating common movements you might do at home, at work or in sports.
While using various muscles in the upper and lower body at the same time, functional fitness exercises also emphasize core stability. HEX is designed to train and develop your muscles to make it easier and safer to perform everyday activities.
FOUNDATION 3: FIT
As with the goal of any exercise regime, the ultimate goal is to become physically and mentally fit thus improving every aspect of life. The HEX program gives you that and more by providing intensity, motivation, dynamic workouts, improved heart health, increased joint mobility and overall improved health.
One of the most important aspects of the HEX system is that your peak level of fitness can be reached on your time scale and your terms. The system is designed to fit to you as opposed to it.
FOUNDATION 4: FLEXIBILITY
Flexibility is the the range of motion of your joints or the ability of your joints to move freely. Furthermore the mobility of your muscles and the allowance of movements around the joints. By becoming more flexible you will be less prone to injury and will be able to perform at your best.
HEX works with the body's natural limitations when it comes to flexibility such as; age, sex, body structure and bulk and incorporates ways for gradual improvement.
FOUNDATION 5: FAMILY
With the HEX system "Family" is
"Accountability". Each individual becomes part of a larger community of support where all are accountable for each others success. When it comes to fitness goals, it takes A LOT of hard work, commitment and dedication to get to where you are going.
HEX has found that a gym family (GYMFAM) holding one on another to be self-accountable not only leads to long term success but lasting bonds beyond fitness.
